Recycle

We have so many options to recycle which is brilliant!

We have curbside collections - our coloured wheelie bins which are collected by our local Councils. Local recycling points too which take the items which are not collected from our doorstep - these include batteries, glass, lightbulbs, wood, electrical goods... They key is to take a little time to seperate out your rubbish to minimise what gets put to landfill.

Food and garden (organic) waste for us is collected at our door but there is always the option of composting. I do put our coffee grounds into the soil and crush egg shells to try to deter slugs and snails from my veggies in the summer. So many options. How do you recycle your waste?
